Estonian Song and Dance Celebration 2014
How many singers or dancers have you seen on one stage performing together? More than a hundred, more than a thousand? Song and Dance Celebration is held in Estonia after every five years. On the big stadium there are over 10 000 people dancing together.
There are over 33 000 singers on Song Celebration. Over 22 000 singers of them are on the stage at the end of the Song Celebration singing together. The total number of people together is over 100 000. Everybody knows the words of the most important songs and are singing together.

Choirs and dance groups are have been practicing for many years to get to the Song and Dance Celebration. There are always more performers wishing to get permission for the Celebration than performers achieving the permission. The best collectives get the invitation. The 150 year old tradition is totally unique in the world, there is nothing like this elsewhere.
